That’s what I’ve been doing but I have to go out with her as otherwise she just hangs about the back door. Also she has to be supervised or she’ll eat stuff like pebbles 🙈

Yup, the tree is still up. Tbh the biggest problems are still the lack of toilet training and the fact she will pick up and run off with anything that is dropped 🙈

It’s coming on really well and thanks for asking. She’s a fabulous little dog. Really clever and responsive. She’s really good with kids and other dogs. She needs to be with a young family who’s going to keep her exercised and entertained though, not an elderly, semi mobile couple in a small bungalow where she can’t even be let off leash 😔

Her owner’s haven’t messaged to say they’ve arrived or to check she’s OK. Do you think they might not be planning on coming back?

I think this one might also like eating poo. I caught her devouring some bird poo (bird flu!!) and just stopped her running off with a poo bag I’d left st the back door.

She didn’t come with chews but I’m going to get her a pig’s ear and maybe some chicken feet when I’m out today to see if that helps to keep her occupied. I’ve got a nylon chew from another dog but had to take it off her because she was biting bits off and swallowing them.

Don’t I know it. (*despair emoji) She’s just the same in the garden. She eats leaves, bits of wood, bark chippings. I’ve started using a long line so I’ve got her under my control, which is a shame.

She’s been a lot better, no accidents indoors, although that’s down to my vigilance rather than her choices, but I’ll take the win.

I’ve wondered that myself. Some breeds don’t seem to have them. If they don’t get trimmed regularly they turn into hooks…which may be your problem. They don’t wear down naturally.

 I think she’s about ten months as they bought her in March. She seems to be completely untrained.

Cons: is she house trained? … she appears to be house preference trained. Puppy pads everywhere and I’ve ordered some puppy nappies off the internet.

Any more accidents lately?

Nothing to do with insurance but anyone on benefits should consider using the PDSA vets. They offer a wonderful service and only ask for a donation.

All this time it’s been going on and nobody challenged him. I read he’s autistic and suffers from OCD. He also has an autistic, non verbal son. This might go some way to explaining, if not condoning his behaviour. If the inappropriateness has never been pointed out to him he would think it must be acceptable as he wouldn’t know what was going on in other people’s heads without them telling him. Even then he might not accept he’s done anything wrong. Not sure what exactly he’s done but that would explain low level, attention seeking stuff. Anything more serious, not so much. In cases like this I worry about the ‘pile on’ effect. Guilty until proven innocent in the press. I’d rather let the police deal with it not the media.
